Masking Update for Visitors

To help keep our patients, residents, and staff safe during respiratory illness season, NSHN has updated our masking practices:

Emergency Department (all sites):

•  Medical masks are required for all visitors.

Acute Care Unit:

•  Medical masks are recommended.

•  Masks are required if you have any signs or symptoms of respiratory illness.

Long-Term Care:

•  Medical masks are recommended but not required.

All Other Areas:

•  Masking is encouraged but not required.

   If you are feeling unwell or showing signs of respiratory illness, please wear a medical mask.
