Masking in our Facilities

The North Shore Health Network continues to monitor masking requirements for visitors to our sites.

​

At this time, we are moving to “mask friendly.”

​

What this means for patients, staff, and visitors:

1. Masks will no longer be required upon entry.

2. Visitors who are experiencing signs and symptoms of respiratory illness are asked to wear a mask at all times. Please consider postponing your visit until you are no longer experiencing symptoms.

3. NSHN may reinstate mandatory masking based on illness activity, during respiratory illness seasons and/or to manage outbreaks.

4. Masks may be required as directed in the Emergency Department.

5. Masks will remain readily available for all who chose to continue to wear one and this decision will be supported and respected.
