The Laboratory at NSHN’s Blind River site offers a range of essential services conducted by licensed medical laboratory technologists, including:

NOTE: some tests are “self-pay” and are not covered by OHIP. This information will be shared with you prior to the tests being conducted. The most common self-pay tests include but are not limited to:

Testosterone

Vitamin D
Please be aware that certain laboratory tests require specific instructions and are only booked at certain times.
The following tests cannot be booked via our online platform and must be booked over the phone with our receptionist:
