Code Grey - External Air Exclusion Update July 15, 2026

North Shore Health Network is currently in a Code Grey – External Air Exclusion due to poor air quality affecting our communities.

To help protect our patients, staff, providers, volunteers, and visitors, NSHN has implemented measures to improve indoor air quality, including adjusting our ventilation systems.

To support these efforts, we kindly ask that visitors limit visits to essential visits only and minimize entry and exit through hospital doors while the Code Grey remains in effect. Reducing door openings helps maintain indoor air quality and supports a safe environment for everyone.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and cooperation as we work together to keep our patients, staff, and communities safe. We will provide updates as conditions change.
